I had the pleasure of hosting this latest episode of “Mobility Matters,” where we focus on the temporary living landscape across the U.S., looking at the challenges providers face and the innovative solutions offered by the industry’s subject matter experts. This includes our own supplier partner, Cara Pescho, VP, Strategic Alliances – Global Mobility, National Corporate Housing, and Cartus’ Brenda Thoeny-Johnson, Director, Strategic Business Solutions, who, in a previous life, worked in the temporary living sector.

Cara Pescho

For more than 25 years, Cara’s dedication to the temporary housing industry and focus on her clients’ success continue to be the driving forces behind developing innovative programs to enhance the corporate housing experience for private industry and relocation companies. Prior to being named VP, Strategic Alliances, Cara served in a variety of positions at National Corporate Housing, including a National Account Manager and Regional Manager. In her current role, she oversees the relocation sales and operations, consults with relocation management companies, and continually seeks ways to provide value to current and prospective customers. Throughout her tenure, Cara’s proudest moments include: serving on the board of CMARC, speaking and representing the corporate housing industry and National Corporate Housing at industry events, and contributing to National’s Community Impact group, as well as its Wellness Committee.

Brenda Thoeny-Johnson

Brenda Thoeny-Johnson is a Director of Strategic Business Solutions at Cartus with over a decade of mobility experience. Brenda specializes in taking a consultative approach to business development and is responsible for procuring new business throughout the northwest quadrant of the United States. Brenda has been recognized by  her peers as a global mobility leader in the supplier space and was listed as one of the 2021 Top 100 Global Mobility Suppliers in the industry. Brenda is known for her unwavering positive attitude and her ability to inspire those around her to reach their goals.

Jackie Charney

Jackie Charney is a seasoned leader with more than 35 years of experience in corporate relocation. She has held various positions during her tenure with Cartus, including Real Estate Services, Client Services Operations, Government and Military Services, and Asset Management. Jackie has been in her current role as Director, Supply Chain Management at Cartus for ten years and is responsible for the management and service delivery of several supplier networks, including global Furniture Rental, Temporary Housing, and Rental Assistance.
