Choosing a virtual format for the event significantly reduces CO2 emissions by cutting travel and venue energy use. For instance, if one person from each of the 42 countries flew to attend, it would produce around 88.1 metric tons of CO2—the same as driving a gasoline car for 220,000 miles or powering 10 homes for a year. This transition to a virtual format underscores our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
