key findings

Covering topics such as program size, move types, cost management, flexibility, remote work, cross-cultural training, and DEI, here are some of the survey report’s key findings:

  • DEI drives policy change. This industry rated DEI as the third most important reason to change or update their mobility policies, while it was only sixth in the full report.
  • Mobility activity remains strong. 66% of the companies in this industry said their mobility activity grew or stayed the same in the past two years.
  • Cross-cultural training is widely used. Most organizations (83%) work with third-party providers to give cross-cultural training support to their relocating employees and their families—slightly more than the full survey report (77%). This shows the value of cultural skills and adjustment for effective assignments in this sector.
